Dustless Blasting
Dustless blasting mixes water with the abrasive at the nozzle. Dust is suppressed at the source, so only simple containment is needed to keep the air cleaner and the media on the ground.
Where it fits
It is the method we use when people are working nearby, when the job is at a marina or a house, and when the surface should stay cool. We can blast aluminum, fiberglass and steel without the heat that warps thin metal.

Cleaner than dry blasting or pressure washing
Because the dust is knocked down with water, other work can continue nearby and cleanup is simpler than dry sand. It is also more effective than pressure washing alone: the abrasive removes coatings while the lower pressure protects the substrate.
On steel, we use rust inhibitors so the surface does not flash rust before primer. Blasted steel can be primer-ready, and we can apply that primer here.
Dustless wet blasting runs at a much lower pressure than a pressure washer and knocks the dust cloud down at the nozzle. Conventional dry blasting still fits heavy rust and structural steel. When we dry blast, the media is often recycled glass: crushed post-consumer glass, silica-free, and sourced in Canada when we can.
