About Us
Although Belleville Blasting Co. is a new company, the experience and knowledge follow from four generations in the marine industry. The Crate name has been known in boating on the Bay of Quinte since 1930.
Crate Marine and Belleville Blasting
With over 90 years repairing fiberglass, wood and metal boats, we have researched the methods that bring almost any material back to life. We offer efficient, cost-effective and eco-friendly surface preparation from a 7,000 sq ft heated shop, an outdoor booth, and a fully mobile rig.
Belleville Blasting Co. is a division of Crate Marine Belleville. That marine background is why boat hulls, running gear, osmosis remediation and waterfront steel are the core of the work.

Coatings we apply
Blasting is the prep. The finish is high-performance primers, epoxies, antifoul and topcoats. Systems we use include West System, Propspeed, 3M, Awlgrip and Interlux.
