Boat Bottom Blasting & Antifouling Removal
Boat bottom blasting and antifouling removal Ontario owners use when years of antifouling have to come off without gouging the hull. Dustless wet blasting strips old bottom paint and failing barrier coats with far less dust than dry sand.

What we remove
- Multiple layers of antifouling and bottom paint
- Failing barrier coats and epoxy
- Paint on running gear, trim tabs and outdrives
- Rust and scale on steel hulls and keels
- Old coatings on aluminum boats and pontoon logs
Osmosis and blister repair
If the hull has osmotic blisters, blasting opens them and removes the damaged gelcoat so the laminate can dry. We can take the job from stripping through fairing and a new epoxy barrier coat. Belleville Blasting is a division of Crate Marine Belleville, so the hull work sits on four generations of boat repair.
Shop or dockside
Boats can be blasted in the 7,000 sq ft heated shop or the outdoor booth in Belleville, or on site at a marina or yard with the mobile unit. After the hull is bare we can apply primers, barrier coats and antifouling.
